The Valley City Calendar idea was born out of The Longest Table, a community project hosted by the Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation. The Longest Table aimed to foster neighborly conversations, enhance community enjoyment, and facilitate the exchange of ideas among Valley City residents. It served as a platform for people to come together, share experiences, and contribute to the betterment of the community. Among the various ideas generated through this initiative was the concept of the Valley City Calendar—a centralized hub for all events taking place in Valley City. This innovative platform provides residents and visitors alike with easy access to information about upcoming events, fostering community engagement and promoting a vibrant local culture.
